The Department of Industrial Engineering at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) engaged in a partnership with Continental Tyre International on 15 October 2012 at the Sardinia Suite, Radisson Blu Hotel, Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth.
Through this partnership we will provide short course training to Continental delegates. The short course training consists out of a Lean unit and Workstudy unit.
This partnership became a realisation for us on 19 January 2013 when two of the department’s lecturers, Mr Jaco Snyders and Mr Cobus Joubert went to Hannover, Germany to commence the first leg of the training and remained in the country for about two weeks.
